How to connect an Instagram account and enable the app

Connect an Instagram account

In this section, we will guide you through connecting your Instagram account with the Mageplaza Instagram Feed and enable the app. Please follow the steps with the attached images for a better understanding.

Firstly, ensure you have logged in to your Instagram account in the Instagram page.

Then open Mageplaza Instagram Feed and you will see the Welcome card appear.

Before starting to connect your Instagram account, you can change the app language to make it more convenient. Available options include English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Swedish.

Step 1: Click on Connect to Instagram

Step 2: Log in to your Instagram account

Step 3: A confirmation window will appear, select Allow to accept sharing your account’s information.

And that’s it! You have now completed connecting your Instagram account with our application.

At the Dashboard page, you can Change account or Disconnect the account you just logged in

Note: When connecting your account for the first time, the app will sync up to 20 media to minimize loading time. Once auto-sync or manual sync is complete, all media will be displayed in full.

Enable Mageplaza Instagram Feed

• Open Mageplaza Insta Feed, go to Enable app and click on Enable to activate the app.

• Then you will be redirected to your theme and Mageplaza Instagram Feed app is automatically enabled, click Save to complete the process.

• After that, go back to the app and click on Refresh status to see the app active.

• Go to Settings > Synchronize data > Manual sync to update 100 latest posts from your Instagram to the app.
